The group held a very successful April meeting its theme being ‘On the Spot’ writing when, after 25 minutes of intense concentration, head scratching and pencil nibbling, members and visitors/new members (3) read out their work.  The surprise items placed on the table just prior to this exercise were required to be included within a story or poem; items were a box of Jane Asher Cheesecake Mix, a stone beetle, scissors, a cracker and a piece of Irish green marble.
